Mass tea-bagging scheduled for Tomorrow
Tomorrow is tax day and some Americans will exercise the right of organized protest against our government by holding tea bag parties. They are mimicking one of the founding moments of this country, when our forefathers revolted against a tyrant, cried “no taxation without representation” and thereby took the first step in open rebellion against an unjust government.
I am forced to ask, what is your message supposed to be?
We are not subjects of a royal tyrant who holds our very lives in the palm of his hand. We vote on many tax issues when we cast our ballot, and we elect a representative voice to speak for us in government. This is the government based on our constitution. Therefore, it is the government under our law.
I ask again, what is your message supposed to be?
Many say this is to protest against what they believe is a slide to a socialist government. I say, if you really believe this then pull out the stops and protest socialism in America. After you shake your teabag and yell your slogans then very publicly burn your medicare card, social security card, drivers license and any other licenses you may have. Then send back your social security and disability checks. After that drive home only on privately owned roads. Once your home continue to live your protest by refusing to use public transportation, parks, libraries and utilities. Then report to your state militia to go fight in Iraq so the federal army can be disbanded and our really brave citizens can come home.
I ask one more time, what is your message supposed to be?
If you really believe in it then own it. I have been told before in response to some of my views, Its America, Love it or Leave it. Now I am saying this right back at’cha. Show some real teabags and man up.
Excellent points. I'd also like to remind the tax day protesters to never again enter a public library, park, use the post office-even for simple mailngs-always use UPS from now on. In addition, if someone breaks into your house and a frightening scenario takes place, whatever you do, do not call 911 (as that is "big" gov't). Instead, call a private security (rent a cop) company to come take care of things. If your house is on fire, call your friends and ask them to help pass the bucket-just don't call the fire dept.-that would be acting like a socialist commie-and we don't want that!
Never again ride a public bus, attend a community college, or a state university, if an earthquake destroys your house, work it out with your private insurance company and NOT fema. Send your kids to private schools only. If any of them are attacked/assaulted/threatenned – remember, you can only call your friendly neighborhood Westec guy. If you are crushed in an automobile accident, tell the paramedics to leave immediately and wait for your private doctor to come pull your mangled body out of your car.
Do all that, and then prance around pretending to be a protestor (what a fucking joke) on tax day.
