I keep telling the readers of this blog to contact the Congress and the Senate to give them your input on important issues like health care reform, global warming, the environment and a host of others.  I don’t care if you are Democratic, Republican, Independent, Progressive, Liberal or Conservative.  You have a right to your opinion and you should make sure that opinion is heard.  It is your duty as a citizen of the United States.  Expressing yourselves to your elected officials is also the only way to fight the big corporations and their lobbyists.  In other words, citizens must be their own lobby.

However, it occurred to me that I have not really offered you a way to get in contact with those in DC.  So now I am going to give you the easiest way possible to get your opinion on the record.  I am linking this blog to congress.org.

Just put in your zip and it gives you your senators and representative. You type your message into an input field and just click on the submit button. And your message is sent for you.  How simple is that?

Please let your voice be heard.  It is easy to bitch, but not so easy to do something about it.  Now you can bitch directly to the people in charge and, if there are enough of you, maybe something gets done.  I will stick this post on the front page of lunacanus  until health care is passed.  After that you can still follow the link listed under the blogroll at the right of the home page.
