Maddow on Fox So Called News

In the United States the press is supposed to follow events, including politics, then tell us what has occurred or is occurring.  We, as citizens can then form our opinions of events from a knowledgeable, informed and up to date perspective.  The press is not supposed to be biased toward one side or the other.  But because they are human beings with their own ideas and opinions sometimes bias is there.  However, good journalists try to leave their opinions at the door and report on events as they occur, and they report as much of the truth as they can.  Exceptional journalists educate the public about what is happening, thereby allowing us to make well informed decisions.

Rachel Maddow is an exceptional journalist.  After viewing her program, I always come away feeling that I know more about a story than I did before tuning in to her show, and she makes me want to learn even more.

Now Rachel has given us a very apt explanation of why Fox News isn’t a news network.  The whole thing is shown in the video following this post.  As usual, after watching it you will understand much more about The White House vs Fox than you did before.  That is what good journalism does.
