Former Colorado Republican Congressman, Tom Tancredo does his best to prove that everything people have been saying about the party he belongs to is true.  Mainly that they are a bunch of thin skinned Conservatives and cannot take the heat let alone argue their case on the issues or merits.

This guy has the audacity  to play politics with issues like health care reform, military action, veterans affairs and immigration.  But he doesn’t have the cojones to stand up when his own record is called into question.  Tancredo is a prime example of what is wrong with the Republican Party.

Trancredo ran for Congress pledging to honor term limits which were a big issue at the time.  Of course, he broke his pledge.  He turned almost apoplectic over immigration but of course, hired illegal immigrants to refurbish and redecorate the basement in his home.  He never met a war or a military expenditure he didn’t vote for, but he got a deferment from Vietnam because of a supposed mental illness.  I think they listed the mental illness as Republican Party membership.  He’s one of those ‘I’m more moral than you’ Christians so his mental problems were most likely miraculously cured round about 1972.

I really can’t say enough for this guy.  I’m just glad his run for the Presidency of the United States fell flat very quickly.  I really do not think this country could have survived this wingnut.
