Courage the Turkey got a special Presidential Pardon from Barack Obama today.  That isn’t unusual as every year the sitting President pardons one or more Thanksgiving turkeys.  But after eight long years of frat boy jokes and crudeness from the occupant of the White House just past, watching Obama carry this little bit of silliness off with his usual panache is very refreshing, indeed.

I am thankful this holiday that the United States has a President that is intelligent, not to mention just plain cool.
