Yeah, I did not believe it when I was told about it either.  Sadly, it is true.

I don’t care if you are Republican, Democratic, conservative or liberal, animal cruelty is just beyond the pale…period.  Sadly however,  it seems to continue happening as the following clearly shows.

It seems that an animal groomer in Ross Township, Pennsylvania had the not so bright idea of piercing the ears and necks of small kittens and went on to tie off the tails of the little fluff balls all to create and sell her masterpiece works.

The result was goth kittens with no tails, earrings heavy enough to bend their ears over and submission rings in their necks.  She then went on to proudly offer these abused animals for sale on E-bay.

When asked by A.S.P.C.A. officers why she would do such a thing, the woman said simply “I thought it was cool”.

What this person does to their own body in the name of art is one thing, doing the same to a defenseless animal is quite another.  Having a pet is a privilege, not a right.  Mistreating that pet is not cool, it is a crime.

I for one hope this person has quite a bit of time to consider this as she sits in jail for animal cruelty.
