Silly me, I was always under the impression that Republicans, especially those in the Senate of The United States were against Communism.  Senator Hohn Kyl of Arizona is proving what a fool I am to have believed that just because they have been saying it for as long as I can remember.

Granted, I have always thought most Republican Senators were hypocrites, but I never suspected they could be Communist sympathisers.  However, what other conclusion should I draw from Kyl’s blocking of The START Treaty in the Senate?

Surely, this Senator would not go against former high ranking officials from Saint Ronald Reagan’s administration and current  seated Senators of his own party just for political gain.  Particularly when he has to know blocking the START Treaty will put the security of this country at grave risk.  Obviously there has to be something in it for him.  All of which leads me to wonder if John Kyl is more loyal to the Russian government than he is to this one?

I realize the Russian government is no longer supposed to be Communist.  But Putin certainly seems like he would like to take them back to that form of governing and by blocking this treaty, Kyl is helping Putin.

Why would the Republican Minority Whip of The United States Senate do something he knows will harm the troops he claims to be behind in Afghanistan?  Why would he help the terrorists he claims to be against by allowing loose nukes to be more available to them?  If he is just playing politics, then he is endangering everything he so loudly bellows he holds dear.  If it isn’t just politics then he is showing loyalty to a foreign government above that of his own country and should be investigated and possibly removed from the Senate.  If his sympathies lie with Communism or with the Russian government then he does not belong there.

Perhaps a close look should also be taken at Senator Collins (R-ME).  She certainly seems a little weak kneed about her convictions too.

Until both of these so called patriotic Americans explain themselves, I will address them as Comrade Senator.  The same goes for any other Senator who would endanger the country I love and its children with their silly games.  They should grow up, get a backbone and do what they love to preach about….be patriotic and protect this nation.

By the way, being the Senate Minority Whip means Kyl is the one who is supposed to keep members of his party in the Senate in line.   Is that the Republican Party or the Communist Party he is keeping in line and toeing the line for?
