Soon the big wigs and big donors of the RNC will be gathering for a rally/dinner/fundraiser/ big party in that bastion of the common working man they claim to represent, Beverly Hills California.

With tickets running as high as $60,800 for a couple this is sure to bring out all the hard working 9-5 Joe the plumber types that have the extra cash in their Glenn Beck gold account.  I am also quite certain that whatever posh retreat they are planning to hold the event in is rushing to add hundreds of mobile home power and sewage hookups to their resort to accommodate all the motor homes the tea baggers will be driving in from around the nation.

Needless to say they are not concerned with security at this event.  They think it is okey dokey, fine and dandy to carry loaded weapons in close proximity to President Obama, so I am certain there will be plenty of firepower at this event.  It would just make security guards armed with mere pepper spray and stun guns redundant.

Once you have paid your thousands of dollars, enjoyed the fine wine and food with your wife, mistress, escort or rent boy you will be in for the thrilling speeches.  Ahhh yes! the thrilling and captivating speeches made by those people who embody what the RNC and Republican party stand for.

As these pillars of what you stand for look out over the gun packing, date purchasing crowd of’ working Joes and people from small town America that you so vocally represent I am sure they will be inspired.  They will know that they are speaking straight to the heart of the common man and will give a speech that must be  recorded for all the world to hear and for all posterity.

The main man for the event, the one who shares your values the most is sure to give the best speech of all.  He will after all be the keynote speaker for the entire gathering.  He is the one you paid the $60,800 to see (plus the extra cost of a date and the motor home hookup) and you are looking forward to him inspiring you and telling you how things are in real America.

Enter Andrew Breitbart!!!

Yes, you will be inspired by the master of video tape editing himself Andrew Breitbart!  Yes, the Andrew Breitbart!  The one that is a proven liar!  The man that single handedly took down an organization that represents the dreaded minorities with lies and selective editing of a video.  The man that destroyed what should have been a speech on racial tolerance and turned it in to a racial issue.  The man who ruined another persons life for no better reason than he could!  That Andrew Breitbart.

The man that most represents what the RNC is all about will inspire you with tales of his truthiness.  He will regale you with his video magic.  He will lie to you over and over again just like he lies to everyone else and you will eat it up.

Enjoy your squab, capons, hired dates and fine wine.  Lap up the lies that Andrew Breitbart tells you from the sterling silver bowl they will place in front of you.  Feel good about having lies told to you and the day after you leave Beverly Hills take a drive in your motor home through the rest of Los Angeles and look long and hard at the world around you.

Then you can go home with dose of real truth and not just your own truthiness.

An unrepentant Andrew Breitbart told POLITICO on Thursday that the Obama administration and its allies have manufactured a controversy over the video he posted of Shirley Sherrod’s speech to the NAACP as part of an orchestrated effort to take him down.

“I am public enemy No. 1 or 2 to the Democratic Party, the progressive movement and the Obama administration based upon the successes my journalism has had.”

Oh my, aren’t these conservative, Republican, wing nuts a laugh a minute?  Breitbart is actually referring to the smears he perpetrated on ACORN and Shirley Sherrod as journalism.  Can you believe that?

By the way, Mr. Breitbart, you are not public enemy number one or two to the Democratic Party, so please don’t delude yourself with that or try to use it to excuse yourself.  I have been a member of the Democratic Party for over forty years and you don’t come even close to measuring up as public enemy one or two.  In fact, there is little chance you would even make the list at all.

My parents were also proud members of the Democratic Party.  During their time the enemies were Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo.  They were whipped under a Democratic administration.  That was after and partially during the time they whipped Republican President Hoover’s Great Depression.

During my time, one of our biggest public enemies has been bigotry.  We thought we whipped that with The Civil Rights Bill which as you should know, came under another Democratic administration.

Then racists like you come along and prove we drove you underground and didn’t really wipe you out.  But rest assured your time is very, very limited.  People are on to your racist fear mongering and  they aren’t buying your bull.  You are like pale shadows of the racists we have already faced so you don’t scare us in the least.

By the way, journalism is not believing something then altering the facts to fit your bigoted view and sticking your perversion of the truth up on the Internet.  You are about as much of a journalist as I am.  This site gives opinions not perversions, but I am still not a journalist.  However, on a scale of one to ten we beat you by nine.

Breitbart, I am really sorry your parents didn’t give you the attention you craved as you grew up.  It is sad that their lack of attention turned you into the attention whore you are today.  But even with that excuse, you should quit trying to ruin other people to make up for your own ruination.

In case you want to know, I am a sixty three year old woman with only one leg and I have no use of my left arm.  I could still whip you with my good arm tied behind my back.  And don’t try to say I am attacking you because I am black and it is reverse racism.  My lineage has been traced back to the Vikings and I am so white you can almost read through me on sunny days.

I know it rocks your little world to know that even white people see you as the hack and the bigot  you are.  That is just the way it is.  Get used to it, enjoy your fifteen minutes then crawl back under your rock with your tea bagger friends.  The Democratic side is too busy trying to clean up the Bush, Cheney mess to be sidelined  by giving too much time to back bencher wannabes  like you and Drudge.

While the controversy over Fox News, Brietbart and the rest of the Shirley Sherrod scandal is still hot, we must continue  to draw attention to it.  Because Fox and pals deserve to be pilloried for their fake journalism and outright lies and also because this  needs to stay sharp in our minds in case anyone, ever again tries to tell us Fox is a legitimate news source.  We must make them understand character assassination is not journalism nor is it legitimate reporting on politics.

The legitimate,  hard working media and press has been responding to the Fox , Brietbart scandal by airing a whole lot of truth about this matter.  I will bring you two videos of popular newsmen responding to the Fox embarrassment.

First up, CNN’s Anderson Cooper;

This time, I must say Anderson Cooper tells it like it is.  Except I do want him to know, some people on the Internet do have standards and care very much about the truth.

Next, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann;

Keith even came away from his vacation to tape this.  Now that is dedication.  Somehow I cannot see Bill O’Reilly doing that.  I think he would put his pleasure before anything else, no matter how important it was.

Does anyone out there remember when Hillary Clinton said there was “a vast right wing conspiracy” and the way she was drug over the coals for even suggesting such a thing?

If events in the press over the last few days prove anything, it is that Hillary was most likely right.  Fox invented the tea baggers, or at the very least pushed them along for Dick Armey and his conservative Republican gang.  Fox accepts video and stories from right wing nut bloggers like Drudge and BrietBart at face value.  Fox never even slows down to check out any facts or ask any questions, they just rush the information onto national television.

But perhaps their latest foray into the land of the real journalists is going to finally show them and their accomplices up for what they are-frauds and pretenders without an iota of journalistic integrity.

Of course, I am referring to Shirley Sherrod, the NAACP and all the rest who have been unfairly caught in the Fox and Accomplices web of lies over the last few days.  As this whole thing plays out, we must be sure that Fox, Brietbart and the rest do not escape the truth this time.  They must suffer at least as much from legitimate media reporting as Ms. Sherrod suffered from their illegitimate media reporting. Actually, if there is really justice, they will suffer far more and deservedly so.

I know you have most likely seen the video of Shirley Sherrod that was viciously edited to make it seem she was espousing racist views when in reality it was exactly the opposite.  I will not show it  but for anyone that may have missed it, you can probably see it on You Tube.  I hope never to see it again and I am sure you feel the same.  I mean, how many times do you want to watch lies?

What I will do is show you a video of Rachel Maddow doing her normal good press work and taking the perpetrators of this lie apart…piece by evil, rotting flesh piece.

Republican Senator John Kyl from Arizona is the current Senate Minority Whip.  That means he is responsible for keeping votes on the side his party leadership wants and keeping discipline in the ranks.

John Kyl is also an unashamed elitist, and he has been quite active in holding up extensions of unemployment benefits that would help a lot of people who are on the ropes thanks to the Bush economy.  He claims his objection, along with other Republican Senators, to the benefits extension is that it is not paid for.  He doesn’t want to add to the deficit.

However, he proved his own lie while being interviewed on Fox News.  Obviously he was not ready for the question Chris Wallace asked.  He showed himself to be the fool that he is and proved the hold up of unemployment benefits has nothing to do with the deficit.  That makes him a liar too.

What does the hold up have to do with?  It is the class of the people who would receive the money.  They are not rich.  They are working class and deserve no help.  At least in the ideology of John Kyl and his cohorts.

If you think I am exaggerating or understanding this incorrectly, watch the video below and tell me just how you would take it.

I told you a few days ago about the Prescott, Arizona K-5 school that decided it was a good idea to change the color of the children on a school mural to white.  This was even though the children pictured on the mural are actually students at the school and their skin colors were true to life. It appears the racism of the wing nuts and tea baggers knows no bounds.

Now the school has changed its collective mind about lightening the skin colors of the children on the mural.  They are going back to the original concept and say they just “made a mistake.”  However, it is telling that they would consider doing this in the first place.  Imagine how those children must feel.

It is also telling that they did not decide to change what they were doing on their own.  The nastiness and pure racism of their action came to national attention. They got a lot of negative attention and feedback and that is why they changed their minds.

It seems that the loudest fringe of the Republican Party is behind the Arizona papers law and they are showing their full racist views now in public.  With the school mural, they went too far, even for Arizona.  I personally think this law was brought up to intimidate Latino voters and keep them away from the polls.  But again, national outrage has brought them a raft of unanticipated problems.

Because they appealed to the worst of their base with their bigoted law, it emboldened the true racist groups living in the state.  They were the people who forced the decision to lighten skin color on the mural.  They are the element in the state that is going to bring them down if they don’t get some legislation in place to tamp down the fringe element.

You don’t have to be a genius to see there will be confrontations as a result of the Republicans in Arizona deciding to play dirty politics with race.  I hope they remember where to place the blame if people are killed.  They probably won’t learn anything from this, but they certainly should.  It may turn out to be the perfect example of ‘be careful what you wish for.’

Following is a video of the school principle and the superintendent telling a crowd outside the school about their change of heart.  is it just me, or do they seem a little uncomfortable?

Fox News is now and has been for as long as I can remember, a thinly disguised shill for the Republican Party.  But since their collaboration with Dick Armey to pull the tea baggers together to protest, they have gone entirely off the deep end.

Rupert Murdoch is old and he must be getting at least a little senile to believe that it is okay to just say anything you want  and cloak it in the guise of news.  It seems he has created a news network that has little to do with journalism or the legitimate press.  What he has assembled is a group of malcontents and crazies like Glenn Beck and given them the keys to the network.  Anything goes and now it appears his hosts and anchors are engaged in a race to the bottom of the barrel armed with their scrapers.

We need to let the old Mr. Murdoch know, Roger Ayles and he cannot control our airwaves.  They need to learn that enough is enough and the vast majority of the American public believe in a free press that is not a froth at the mouth political wing masquerading as press.

John Stossel, a Fox News contributor and business anchor, said Thursday that a central piece of the Civil Rights Act should be repealed — the part that says businesses that serve the public can’t discriminate on the basis of race.

Fox News, as expected is starting to echo the Kentucky Republican Senate candidate Rand Paul.  He is the darling of the tea bagger set, so naturally he will be the darling of Fox News too.

Color of Change is the organization that petitioned Glenn Becks sponsors and drove most of them away.  Please sign their petition which will be delivered to Rupert Murdoch.  Lets have lots of signatures and get the old boys attention, at least for a minute or two.  He really needs to hear from a big chunk of Americans who are no longer willing to put up with the Fox bull puckey.

If he does nothing about it, at least we will have drawn attention to Stossel and his racist comments.  Perhaps if we are lucky, we will also ruin Murdochs day.

Murdoch needs to understand we are Americans not Australians.  If he wants to interfere in politics he should do it in his own country.  Even though he became an American citizen in 1985 to get around the law saying only American citizens could own American television stations, he doesn’t seem to be much of an American.  The kicker is he says he won’t comment on Australian elections because he always gets in trouble when he does.  His move to American citizenship resulted in his losing  Australian citizenship.  This guy will even abandon his country in the pursuit of money and power.  What a piece of work.

Just when you think Rush Limbaugh has reached the height of stupidity and can’t possibly go any further into the realm of the idiots, he comes up with an even more monumentally stupid crock of his bulls**t.  This time the conservative Republican radio purveyor of dumb is blaming the environmental movement for the Gulf Coast oil gusher.  According to Jabba the Rush,  BP is not to be blamed because “greeniacs” forced oil drilling off the land and far,far out to sea.

This latest outburst from Limbaugh comes after he declared just a couple of weeks ago that environmental terrorists blew up the Deep Horizon drilling platform.

It seems Rush likes attention of any kind.  People making fun of him and laughing at his stupidity are normal things for him and I suspect have been all of his life.  But it is attention and that is what he craves.  Inside I believe he is still the fat little kid on the playground that did anything to get the attention of the ‘cool’ crowd.  He is still trying.

Move on to better things in the reality based world, Rush.  Come out of the closet.  Live your remaining days as a half way decent human being.
