Tea Baggers Majority Republican

Ever wonder where the tea baggers “grassroots” movement came from?  If you watch Rachel Maddow, you know the whole movement is sponsored and paid for by Republican front groups run by the likes of Dick Armey.  Suffice it to say sleaze begets sleaze.

Finally national polls are starting to investigate the party affiliations of the tea baggers.  Guess what?  You got it, the vast majority is Republican.  Tea baggers are just the far, far right fringe of the Republican Party.  In other words the crazy uncle everyone hopes will stay in his room when people visit.  But during the health care debate, when the Republicans needed loud and possibly a little deranged people to protest Obama and grab press attention, they dragged the crazy uncle from his room and put him on public display.

Now we all know the reason you don’t want the crazy uncle out is because he is an embarrassment and you can never predict just what he might say or do.  The Republicans in their haste to garner attention and to stop the Democratic Administration from making progress, forgot about how embarrassing the crazy uncle could be.  Besides their over sized egos told them they could control the situation and they really thought Fox could deflect close scrutiny of their creation. They were wrong.

Now we are finding out more and more about the real history of the tea baggers.  We know they are liberally sprinkled with racist white supremacists and just completely bat guano crazy John Birchers.  In fact, if you attend a tea bagger rally you will get high from all the delusion in the air wafting off the gathered wing nuts.

As far as the make up of the tea baggers group, here it is  according to pollster Gallup;

Conservative Republicans outnumber moderate/liberal Republicans in the general population by about a 2-to-1 margin; among Tea Party supporters, the ratio is well more than 3 to 1. More generally, almost 8 out of 10 Tea Party supporters are Republicans, compared with 44% of all national adults.

These findings are based on three surveys Gallup conducted in March, May, and June of this year. Thirty percent of Americans, on average, identify as Tea Party supporters — a percentage remarkably consistent across the three surveys.

You can see the rest here.

I will make the assumption that most of you are not surprised by these findings.  The only thing that surprised me at all was the few tea baggers who claimed to be liberal or moderate Democrats.  I believe these people were told to say that so the tea baggers could look as though there was some diversity.  But then, maybe they once called themselves liberal or moderate Dems and didn’t know what it really meant , or they are the very few racists we used to have in our ranks.  You can decide that for yourself.

The tea bagger ideal 2012 Presidential ticket.

Rand Paul Losing Ground Fast

It warms the cockles of my little heart to see Rand Paul beginning to drown in his own bulls**t.  This Libertarian elitist who is running under the Republican banner for the Senate from Kentucky doesn’t appear to understand much of anything when it comes to Kentucky itself.

After all he was born and bred in Texas.  We all know it takes a certain kind of politician to go into another state and become familiar enough with the problems and needs of that state and its citizens to win.  Particularly, it takes an individual who is willing to listen and learn to be really representative of the state population.  Suffice it to say, you cannot just move in and profess a particular dogma and expect to breeze to election.

That may work for the tea baggers because all they are interested in is hollow suits who will ingest their beliefs and spit them back.  They don’t want to think and slogans are plenty good enough in their view.  All they want is the appearance of a candidate without the work of understanding what is going on.  As long as you toe the wing nut line you are their person.

The press generally aides and abets movements like this.  Particularly in the case of the tea baggers because of their puppet masters who have power, clout, money and the ability to attract reporters.  The entertainment press like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck have been particularly enthusiastic in pushing the tea bagger fringe movement and its chosen darlings.

However, something happens when you take far out looney toon ideas and try to sell them to the general electorate.   There always seems to be someone there to call shenanigans, even though they will be branded as Socialist or worse.

Rand Paul and other tea bagger candidates said and did a lot to get the approval of this fringe.  Now they are doing their best to run away from, or at least soften previous statements they have made.  The thing they seem to be amazed at is video and audio tape.  If they move too far toward more generally held beliefs then the tea baggers will    throw them under the bus.  This is not a very forgiving bunch of wackos.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, Rand Paul has been spinning so hard and fast he has almost screwed himself into the ground or maybe he has just screwed himself, period.  It seems his ideas and policy recommendations are not setting well with the general population in Kentucky.

A look at the latest polls in this race  show Mr. Paul is sinking.  To say the least, this is going to be an interesting and at times laugh out loud funny race to watch.  With all that is going on, Lord knows we can all use a good laugh.

From Business Insider, (emphasis mine);

Speaking of Ron Paul, his son Rand is no longer the front runner for the Senate seat from Kentucky.

According to Public Policy Polling, he’s now tied at 43% with his Democratic opponent Jim Conway.

Here’s the most devastating part:

The more Kentucky voters get to know Rand Paul, the less they like him. When PPP first polled the race in December Paul’s favorability was a +3 spread at 26/23. By May it was a -7 spread at 28/35. Now it’s a -8 spread at 34/42. The national media attention Paul has received has hurt his cause with voters in the state- 38% say it has made them less likely to support Paul while 29% say it has made them more inclined to vote for him and 33% say it hasn’t had an impact on their attitude toward Paul one way or the other.

Why isn’t Rand surging? Perhaps he stumbled a bit with his impolitic answer regarding the Civil Rights Amendment (he decline to say whether the government should enforce integration at the level of private institutions), and his comments about how the unemployed should just get lower-paying jobs may not have gone over well, either.

You can read the rest of this really interesting article here.

Between Paul and his tea bagger compatriot Sharron Angle in Nevada, the fun for observers of politics is just beginning.

Dancing in excitement for the coming election. It is going to be fun!

(AP Photo/Ed Reinke, File) No, he isn't confused. He always looks like this.

We, The Small & Little People

Posted under Hypocrisy,Right Wing Nuttery,Tea Bagg Protests by brian on Tuesday 6 July 2010 at 6:27 pm

My fellow small and little Americans.  I have one question to ask you today.  Is it time to give up?

Is it time to give up our health?  Is it time to give up our beautiful world for a modern toxic wasteland?  Is it time to give up our homes and land?  Is it time to give our rights, our freedom and our liberty?  Is it time to give up our very lives?

Is it time to give all this up not in defense of our way of life, not in defense of our country but to maintain the status quo?  Is it time we lay down and accept the rule of masters in corporations and a bought for, misleading and ignorant portion of our society?  Is it time we give up liberty, not with a fight but with a simple whimper?

If so, then we need to change a few of our national documents just as the ignorant portions of our nation seek to rewrite our national history books and the Bible itself.

The nations documents that need to be rewritten for the modern America are none other than The Declaration Of Independence and The Constitution Of The United States Of America. Since it is the very cornerstones of our nation that are being removed, it only seems fitting to revamp the documents that laid those cornerstones in place.

To protect our Supreme Court from any problem in usurping our liberty, and to save the undereducated tea bagger time and confusion, I feel we should just combine these seminal writings into one document.

Now let us all take a look at what this new document might.. just might contain.

We the people in order to form a more perfect profit margin will allow the corporations to poison and kill us.  We will provide for the common stock share and the executive bonus by giving up our jobs.  We will promote the general welfare by dying quickly if we get sick and allow the insurance companies to let us do so.  We will promote profit by working in environments that are unsafe and will kill us.  We will set the corporation on the high altar and never question it.

Sound good to you?  How about this one?

In order to maintain a well regulated militia, like the one Bubba runs, the right of the people, be they criminal or even terrorists, to own a gun, machine gun, tank, bomb, nuclear bomb or any other type of armament shall never be infringed.  In fact Seven-Eleven must now offer a complete line of convenience firearms.  Militias are not as historically believed, a force that defends their nation.  They are but a group of hillbilly, redneck, plastic soldiers who seek to kill law enforcement officials and overthrow the government this document endorses.  To that end a militia is recognized as soon as no fewer than four camouflaged, drunken, heavily armed tin soldiers decide they are unhappy and therefore may kill anyone they wish.

This right shall never be infringed!  Don’t tread on me!  The tree of liberty must be watered with blood!  We are a God fearing christian nation!  Amen!

Bet Sarah Palin just loves this one!  She could hunt pesky reporters and Presidents from her helicopter!

How about this:

Right of Privacy:

We have none!  There is no such thing as privacy in our modern world.  The government is allowed to monitor your online activity, your telephone conversations and can even perform a ‘sneak and peek’  search of your home without a warrant.  All it requires is a lawman to tell a judge in a secret court that they think that you might be related in some way to a possible terrorist threat.  This way all of our rights are protected.

The sad thing is this one is real.  We really have lost the right of privacy, so you might as well go the rest of the way and rip it out of The Constitution.  Why play the game like we still have it?

Free Speech and Press:

You will only display symbols of which the government approves.  You may only tell stories that the corporations allow.  Cover-ups do not happen so there is no need to investigate anything! Private security may at any time keep you from places that may embarrass the corporations.  The public has no need to see bad things because it’s bad for them.  The little people are happy repeating what we tell them to.  The little people really do not want to know what is happening in the world.  They are zombies and we feed them stimuli like Idol and Survivor.  They see the commercials about how much we care about the small people, so what do we need a press for?

As private security firms hired by BP block reporters from public beaches in the Gulf, contravening our law, it seems this has come to pass, too.

Separation of church and state:

Hell, we do not need that one…. if you ain’t a Christian you ain’t an American!  And you better be a Christian in office if you screw the pooch!  I mean that one-screw the pooch, the hooker, dress in diapers, pay off your mistress,  hike the Appalachian trail or hire a rent boy, we can forgive you if you make a good, tearful and Christian apology. If you belong to any other religion then just be seated in the chair over there with the wires coming out of it.  Don’t worry, we will get rid of you without unnecessary pain…..promise.

That one was easy!

Equal rights for women and minorities:

Women: cannot ever, ever, ever have abortions or run for public office, or vote, or leave the home.  Blacks like women are property for a white man to do with as he sees fit.  If your skin tone is in between we can harass you all we want!  If we feel like it, we can ship your brown butt out of the country no matter what documents you show us.  If you speak English with an accent we can force you to leave the country.  If you are not Christian we can forbid you building a house of worship in areas we deem unsuitable.  If you are handicapped…….well,  tough shit.  We do not need ramps, elevators or job bills. If you are mentally disabled and cannot defend yourself against a pure and just Christian  police interrogator we will still execute you for a crime, But that only applies in Texas.   Thus all the rich white Christians are equal under the law.

Lending Laws:

Any bank or financial institution that has a few bucks to spare can loan to anyone they wish whether they are qualified for the loan or not.  You may charge any interest rate you wish, up to but not exceeding %500.  You are allowed to make loans that you know people cannot possibly pay back as long as you can seize overvalued collateral to make it look like you possess more assets than you have.   As long as you make big money on the stock market we do not care how you use the little people.  If you totally screw up and fail we will bail you out, so do not worry.

Wow, this one sounds so familiar is should be a cornerstone of our society.

Privatize health care, get rid of the Department of Education, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, the Department of Health amd Human Services, the Department of Agriculture because they are all sources of problems!

Any regulatory offices, even gutted as they have been, can still cause problems for the corporations. They must go.

Medicare is bad, Medicaide is bad, Social Security is a waste of taxpayer funds and that money belongs in the stock market.  Asking a corporation to clean up a mess it made, as you would a child after a tantrum, is putting the boot heel of our government on their neck.

Our nation is on the verge of insanity!!  There is no nice or soft way to put it.  Actually it is more akin to cancer.  Our nation is being eaten alive, one person at a time, by the cancer of corporate profit.  Every million dollars the disease makes cost one more cell, or person, of our great nation.

If  it is profit from seizing a debtor’s overpriced home and putting them on the streets or a job lost and shipped to China in exchange for tainted and poisonous products at a lower labor rate or declined health care for a cancer patient by an insurance company due to a prior condition like acne, the results are all the same.

Our nation is being nibbled away at one person at a time.  The corporations now make the rules and thanks to our supposed judicial system they even have the same rights as you or I have.  Of course, when needed they still hide behind the corporate umbrella which is a luxury that we, the little people, do not have.

The recent Gulf oil spill and the West Virginia mine explosion show us just how much our multinational corporate masters care for us, the little people.  They ignore safety violations and fines believing they are cheaper than a safe working environment.  If one of us, or more than one of us is killed, well….its still cheaper on the bottom line than safety and fines.

Some of our own supposed politicians apologize  to the very corporation that fouled our waters, killed our citizens, killed our wildlife and more.  We have essentially given them a pass because of our inattention to corporate regulation. They got away with far too much for the eight Bush years and they will no longer take no as an answer.

So now it is time to either rewrite what our nation stands for or not.  Do we stand for We the People? Do we believe that all men are created equal?  Or as the head of BP said, are we the small people he feels such empathy for?

Now is the time to decide. Not just for today or tomorrow, but for the future of our nation and its future generations.

What do you want the law of our land to be?

With the rest of the world, this lady wonders what we did to this beautiful country and just government.

Idaho Tea Baggers Protesting Palin

Cab Sarah Palin ever do anything to just piss off at least some of the tea baggers she says she loves so dearly?  It appears so.  At least in the Idaho tea bagger crowd anyway.

Sarah’s halo seems to be getting a little tarnished.  It appears some of the baggers have enough gray cells left to resent her interference in their local politics.  Good for them!  Its about time some of these Republican cum tea partiers show some spine against their own.  I mean, when a person has gone to far, they have gone too far and they need to be called on it.  Even if they are Sarah Pain.

From Talking Points Memo (emphasis mine);

Baumbach supports Raul Labrador, a conservative state representative who openly supports repealing the 17th Amendment. But Palin is stumping for Vaughn Ward, who was the Nevada state director for John McCain’s presidential campaign, by headlining a fund-raiser tomorrow night.

So, as the Idaho Reporter originally reported, Baumbach is organizing an anti-Palin protest outside the rally He said he expects about 200 people, many of them from the local tea party.

“I’m a big fan of Palin’s in the past, but I have to question whether the money’s going to her head,” Baumbach said, or whether she’s just doing “what McCain tells her.”

Baumbach takes issue with Palin for endorsing candidates like Carly Fiorina in California, accusing her of following McCain’s line instead of listening to what tea parties have to say.

Read the rest here.

Cracks appear to be getting bigger in the whole Republican/Tea Party love fest.  Incumbent Republicans better be careful.  This is not a good thing for them.

Tea Baggers Are Profoundly Dumb

Posted under Hypocrisy,National Happenings,Right Wing Nuttery,Tea Bagg Protests,Video, hate by brian on Tuesday 11 May 2010 at 6:04 pm

By BobbiV

My father used to say about a not so bright person that they were so dumb they would bitch if they were hung with a new rope.  That is precisely the way I feel about the tea bagger Republicans.

For months the press and Fox News have subjected those of us in the reality based world to constant and in some cases phony reporting (if you can call it that) about this group of misinformed, ignorant, racist bunch of cry babies.  With few exceptions our press has not bothered to call these overgrown school yard bullies on their lies, there financial backing and their lunatic claims or their racist associations.  In fact, certain entertainers like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck have actually elevated this group to make them seem more relevant than they actually are.

Lets admit it though folks, this group of people are the wing nut fringe of the wing nut fringe.  They use terms they see as derogatory like socialist and communist as though they are interchangeable.  They must have absolutely no sense of the history or the Constitution of this country or the world in general.  If they do they certainly don’t show it in any interviews I have ever seen with them.

Any doubt as to the lack of knowledge and the gullibility of these people can be erased by looking at who they believe and follow.  Sarah Palin is not exactly a mental giant and we all know her command of any set of facts is tenuous at best.  Palin is the queen of their movement.  Yet when asked to explain her politics or her stand on any issue they cannot.  You get gibberish like she is a great Christian lady and she is right about what she says….period.  So obviously she knows what she is talking about even though she makes no sense.

If Sarah Palin is their queen, Glenn Beck is their king.  I won’t even bother to go into his blathering, border line psychotic eruptions.  Suffice it to say many of the tea baggers believe what he says even if thinking people just stare blankly when he spouts his conspiracy theories and incorrect history.  I cannot really blame them for not being able to explain his views or meaning.  There aren’t any, other than  perhaps the need to grab attention and possibly garner ratings.  I do wish though, that they would explain to me why he is always crying.  Are things for him really that woeful?

A good example of the tea bagger belief in phony facts is their insistence that they are over taxed and taxes are way, way too high.  In fact, taxes are lower than they have been in a number of years.  But why let those pesky facts get in the way of a good bitching session and great misspelled protest signs, right?

Finally it seems some media outlets are beginning to take note of the silliness the tea baggers are spouting.  Below is a video clip from CNN in which they talk about the lowest tax burden since 1950 and site an article from USA Today in doing so.

Tea baggers take note, you are protesting a tax rate that is now as low as it was during the time you say you would like to take our country back to.  So…….why are you complaining so loudly?  What is your real problem?  What are your real motives?

Our Lost America

Posted under Hypocrisy,National Happenings,Right Wing Nuttery,Tea Bagg Protests, hate by brian on Tuesday 27 April 2010 at 6:06 pm

Many today are crying and moaning, shedding tears, tearing hair and rending garments over something they call “my America”.  They claim to “want it back” and for some reason think that Barack Obama, the nations first black President, is basically carjacking the nation from them.

Many on the left today will scorn and mock these God fearing wealthy white right wing American Christians, but I can see where they are coming from.  After all they and their ilk used, abused and drained this country for their own gain long before the United States of America was a hope or a dream.

Their wealth and power, their feeling of supremacy and entitlement was gained by walking over anything and anyone that stood in their collective way.  If it is one of their God’s creations in the form of the land or an animal, they have had no problems killing and destroying it.  If it is a fellow human being who is different in any way they have had no problem using, enslaving, exploiting or making an enemy of them.

Today, thanks to the modern media we can see these seekers of “our lost America” in all their tear stained, tri-corner hat glory.  We all are free to read their misspelled signs and are left to ponder just what nation their forefathers came from.

You can rest assured of one thing, the “lost America” they seek is not from very long ago.  If you were to ask them if they wanted the America of old, where the dear and antelope played, where buffalo herds stretched for days, where the air and water were pure and clean and where white men were confined to starving little groups on one distant shore they would flat out say no!

Are they seeking the America of “We The People in Order to Form a More Perfect Union”?  Obviously not, when they object to the first free and fair Presidential election our nation has held since the year 1996.  Is it merely coincidence that that election was so one sided that they lost?  In a landslide victory little things like confusing ballots, rigged computer voting machines, suspicious breakdowns of multiple voting machines in some districts and the Supreme Court stepping in could not put their man in office.  So now they cry.

Do they seek the America of December 6th, 1944?  An America recovering from depression, willfully ignorant of the world?  An America that saw the problems of the rest of the world as none of their business.  An America that could have done so much more to help the free peoples of the world but hid from the world.  An America that paid with blood over the next half decade to put right what was wrong.  I think not.

Do they seek the America of “Give us Your Poor, Your  Weak, Your Huddled Masses, Yearning to be Free”?  Oh, hell no!  They do not want that!  Their weak, poor family came here long enough ago to make their citizenship assured, why should they share it?  These groups who are paranoid about a national police force or ‘one world’ government ask no less than we all carry more identification than is required by law.  Where are we going to send all the tea baggers when they do not have their birth certificate or passport on them?  What nation would take them?  Oh, but wait, tea baggers will be wearing the correct shoes.  That will keep them from being subjected to this violation of our civil liberties!

Maybe they seek solace in the second amendment.  They group themselves with the militias and gun nuts.  I have been hearing all the propaganda from the NRA since childhood about how the government was coming for gun owners.  In forty years I have yet to see it happen except when the gun nuts go… well, nuts!  The parts of the Constitution that these wing nuts always forget to mention is how these militias will be “well regulated” and how they will be placed under the command of the President of The United States Of America during national crises.  The moment you ignore part of the Constitution you are no longer a militia group, you are a domestic terrorist group.  If you do not recognize the President’s authority over you then you violate the principle you stand for and show you are not an American living by our laws but a terrorist seeking to overthrow the United States Government.

Seriously, if any tea baggers read this, please let me know when or where your lost America was, what you liked about it and why you want it back.

The reason I ask this is because I am confused by your movement and your rallies.  I see Revolutionary war clothing and banners alongside Civil War clothing and banners.  You call for education cuts when you obviously cannot spell a simple protest sign.  Your support for the common man is offset by who pays for your tour buses and rallies.  Your leaders are morally bankrupt while claiming to be just.  You cling to disproved beliefs like they are talisman protecting you from some sort of boogieman and regardless of  what you claim you are a vastly older white movement.

If you are so honest, why do you lie so much?

If you are so independent, why be sponsored by the big corporations you decry?

If you are so American, why call for violence against our government?

If you are so inclusive, why insult minorities?

If you are supposedly so patriotic then how can you act so Un American?

If you are so Christian, how can you deny health care to a fellow human being?

The Waaaambulance picks up an old white tea bagger from a rally.

What is it you really want? If you don't like our government, get off our sidewalks and streets.

Tea Baggers Angry About Parking Tickets

Posted under Hypocrisy,National Happenings,Right Wing Nuttery,Tea Bagg Protests by brian on Monday 26 April 2010 at 4:01 pm

By BobbiV

According to the Wichita Eagle, Wichita tea baggers are angry because police wrote more than 70 parking tickets at an event they held the week before last.

The Republican wing nuts admit they parked illegally but they have a good excuse because they were confused.  Really?  Confused?  What else is new?  You are tea baggers, after all and confusion seems to be your constant state of being.

Are we sure  the  problem is confusion?  I think it is highly likely you just feel the law applies to everyone else and your sense of spoiled entitlement allows you to think you should be exempt from the rules everyone else is expected to follow.

From Kansas.com;

WICHITA, Kan. – Organizers of a Tea Party in Wichita are upset that police wrote more than 70 parking tickets during an event last week.

Hundreds of people participated in a Tea Party gathering last Thursday near Wichita’s City Hall.

Lynda Tyler, of Kansans for Liberty, admits that the people parked illegally in city lots that required permits. But she says many people were confused about using the City Hall garage, and no one was using the private lot during the evening rally.

Police Capt. Troy Livingston says officers responded when a citizen complained about the illegal parking. When one man refused to move his car, he got a ticket, and officers felt they had to ticket everyone else.

The truth is that Republican conservatives always operate under a deluded sense of entitlement.  Just take a look at the Young Republicans on any college campus and the way they reacted to the Iraq war.  They did not go out in mass to enlist in the military because they thought their jobs were to encourage everyone else to do so and to stay home being chicken hawk cheer leaders for Bush and his gang.  Really, it was far more important to be here fighting against marriage equality or any other type of equality for that matter, while they loudly supported torture and tried to justify it with religion.
There are questions I would like the tea baggers to answer.  I see their outrage at so many things, but I cannot fathom what they are really angry about other than having a black President.  So tea baggers, please tell me;

You didn’t get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib photos.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.   Why?

You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed while loudly claiming your support for our troops.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city drown.  Why?

You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.  Why?

You did get mad when you thought all Americans might get health care.  Why?

You did get mad when you got  parking tickets for breaking the law.  Why?

When you can answer all of these questions and convince me that there is truth and logic behind your answers, then I may say you have a shot at being a legitimate third party.  Until then you are just a bunch of old, white, racist, over privileged, under educated, spoiled people with way too much time on your hands.  You are not entitled to anything more than anyone else in this country, no matter what you may believe .

Don’t think you are under educated? Watch the video and pay close attention to the signs.

IRS More Popular Than Tea Party

Posted under Fox Bull Plop,National Happenings,Right Wing Nuttery,Tea Bagg Protests by admin on Wednesday 14 April 2010 at 3:37 pm

Yes, you read that title correctly, the Internal Revenue Service is more popular than the tea baggers and their party.  Granted, this is from a Fox poll, so its trustworthiness is questionable, but I think they would try to make the figures go in the other direction and therefore I tend to believe it.

Net favorable for the IRS is +11%, for the Tea Party it is +2%.  And this is right before their big anti tax rally in DC.  Wow.

Also according to this poll the diva of the right wing nuts, Sarah Palin is more of a liability than an asset.  So, it looks like bad news all around for the wing nut conservative fringe of the Republican Party.  But, just when will the tea baggers figure it out, or will they?  Truth seems to be a very big pill for them to swallow.

From Daily Kos;

A couple of other things worth noting in this poll: Fox asked whether Americans felt the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, or the Tea Party movement more closely represented their values. The results: 40% said Democratic Party, compared to just 25% and 19% for the GOP and teabaggers, respectively.

And as Greg Sargent noted yesterday, the poll not only showed most Americans weren’t offended by Biden’s BFD f-bomb, but 51% said they’d be less likely to vote for a candidate if Sarah Palin campaigned on his or her behalf. Only 25% said they’d be more likely to vote for the Palin-backed candidate.
