We were all aware of the fact that the ‘great’ state of Arizona has no pity whatsoever for their fellow human beings of the wrong skin tone.  Now it seems if you walk on four feet instead of two, even if you are an endangered species, you are fair game for the dinner table.  Wonder what they are feeding the farm raised lions in Arizona?  One can only guess, but I am forced to wonder where all the people they deem unworthy to live in their state go!  Is it like the old Romans and Christians fun and games?  Do the elite whites of Arizona privately gather to see a more modern version of this spectacle?

At this point I really would not be amazed if that were the case.  The powers that be in the backward state of Arizona have truly shown they care nothing about the people or the wildlife in the world.

It seems our government just cannot get along any longer without the help of military contractors.  What this says about our country and our politicians lack of faith in the ability of our own military is more that a bit disturbing.

Not long ago our military was a fine tuned machine.  It could provide security for our bases and embassies around the world, call the wrath of our nation down upon any corner of the globe and provide everything from cold beer to pizza ovens to our combat units.

True, greed and wasteful spending were problems but when these problems were discovered they were dealt with.  Crime is also a problem in the military and they have their own courts and prisons to charge, try and sentence criminals.  The military has always had a code of conduct and has always expected every solider from PFC to Five Star General to follow that code or face the consequences.

Crimes like a drunken rampage resulting in the cold blooded murder of unarmed civilians in a foreign country would not be tolerated in the military.  Other crimes like using taxpayer funds to fly in prostitutes from around the world, the bribery of foreign officials to cover up the troops crimes, use of child sex-slaves, drug smuggling , or the theft of weapons from national armories (in the name of a cartoon character no less) would result in swift punishment for those involved.

Furthermore, though they may be very religious men in their personal lives, our nations military leaders are usually smart enough to know that our military is used for defense of our nation and our way of life.  They realize that the United States is not a nation that engages in ‘holy’ wars.  They have and I am sure will continue to call on God to guide them to victory and to spare the lives of their soldiers, they do not claim those same soldiers are ‘christian warriors’.  Given the fact that every faith in the world is represented in the ranks of our military that would be a untrue and downright stupid statement.

Sadly private companies do not follow these same rules and guidelines, nor do they even claim to have any form of a code of conduct comparable to that of our military.  A company like Xe, formerly known as Blackwater, is run as a for profit corporation.  Their only interest in our national security and our nation’s reputation is what it costs their bottom line.

As a company, Blackwater is accused of what could only be called a laundry list of crimes against our own nation, the governments of other nations and the numerous families of innocent civilians their so called soldiers have murdered in cold blood.  They also like to play even bigger games with our own and international law by moving their workers from nation to nation to avoid prosecution for their criminal activity.

This company is so corrupt and operates so far outside our laws that I would place them in the same category as a drug cartel or nationwide gang like the Bloods.  It has gotten to the point that the former owner of Blackwater, a devout ‘Christian solider’ is planning on relocating his family to Dubai. a nation known for hosting war merchants and arms dealers and that has no extradition treaty with the United States.

Given the criminal history and failure to comply with our nations laws this company has, you would think they would soon be out of business.  But if that is what you think then you are dead wrong.

As we have recently reported Blackwater is getting ready to open a chain of retail ‘security’ stores across the United States.  If that is not bad enough, our own government has given this firm permission to destroy even more of our national reputation while we, the American taxpayer finance their actions.

With new financial backing from our government in the amount of $220 million dollars there will be no end to the damage this company can do to our nation.  Murder, smuggling, rape, theft and selling weapons to groups that fight our country be dammed.

In addition to that it seems that our troops in Afghanistan need the big brave Blackwater corporation to protect them.  Aside from the CIA contract the criminals at Blackwater have been awarded an additional $120 million dollar contract to provide security services in Afghanistan.

You may have noticed our posts recently have been a little spotty.  We have been experiencing  problems with our server and that has caused some problems.  Some of our posts were actually lost and at times we were locked out of updating the site.

I would think this was an effort on the part of right wing nuts to put us out of business, but I have never been real high on conspiracy theories so I will just blame it on tea bagger pollution on the Internet.

Anyway, I hope the problem is corrected, but if we keep experiencing difficulties we will switch hosts or do whatever it takes to put us back up on a constant basis.

Wow, color me shocked at this…..NOT.  Scientists chosen by the government who were charged with calculating the flow rate of the gusher BP unleashed in the Gulf, now say it is likely the well is spewing more than one million gallons of oil per day.

OMG, how will the Gulf of Mexico ever recover from an environmental disaster of this magnitude?

According to The Washington Post;

Much of the oil flowing into the gulf has been skimmed, burned, or dispersed with chemicals, and the well is now capped and partially contained, with 15,800 barrels siphoned to a ship at the surface on Wednesday. But the new figures, obtained Thursday by The Washington Post and soon to be made public in a progress report from national incident commander Adm. Thad Allen, indicate that early estimates of the flow rate by the federal government and oil giant BP were not even close to the mark.

Last month, with the government sticking to an estimate of 5,000 barrels a day, and independent scientists arguing that the amount had to be much higher, Allen appointed the Flow Rate Technical Group to come up with a better estimate.

I think everyone can agree that we will not be seeing the end to this mess before the end of summer.  Then the recovery will take many years.  It is worth noting that the Alaska coast still has oil under rocks and sand from the Exxon-Valdez spill.  This one is far bigger and in a far less contained area.

To all the tea baggers, conservatives and Libertarians out there—how is that no regulations on business thingy workin’ out for ya?  Still love those big oil corporations, do ya?

If any country in the world knows about water it is Holland.  The Dutch have held the seas back from their country for a long, long time without experiencing many problems from having so much land below sea level.  It turns out they know quite a bit about cleaning oil out of ocean waters, too

Like the cartoon character Mighty Mouse, the Dutch are on their way to save the day for the Gulf of Mexico, or at least give us a lot of help.

More help is on the way, thanks to Dutch officials who are sending six sweeping arms to the United States to help with the oil clean up.

The high tech pieces of equipment are being shipped here this weekend by the Dutch Corps of Engineers. Jeff Admon is a mechanical engineer who for weeks has been urging BP to use these machines. In the thickest oil, the arm, which is attached to the side of a ship, can suck up 29,000 gallons of oil per hour. The oil can then be separated from water. Then, the oil goes into a compartment located in the hull of the ship, and gets taken back to shore. Admon says the arms have been used in other parts of the world, and have been very successful. “This equipment was used in two huge oil spills off the coast of Spain and France, the Prestige and the Erica…and they were also used in the ’91 Gulf War” Admon says.

I could go into a  tirade about BP and ask the obvious question.  That is “Why didn’t you take them up on this far, far sooner?”

But they wouldn’t answer the question anyway, so I will not expend the effort.  Anyway, at this point what’s done is done and we have to go ahead with clean up from where we are at now.

It seems to me we have to do everything possible in the shortest span of time we can possibly manage.  This nation is losing the treasure of our wetlands and its environment daily.  We need to do as much as humanly possible to keep more oil out of the swamps and bayous of Louisiana and the other Gulf States.  We can argue about who did or didn’t do what later, right now we have to get to work.  Hurricane season started on June 1st, so let’s hustle fellas.

I have come to believe BP is interested in retrieving  oil from the broken pipe more than sealing it off.  Since the blowout occurred, the entire BP corporation has acted more like the Three Stooges or the Keystone Cops than highly paid engineers and oil experts.  They may be educated but they have no common sense which makes them worth less than teats on a boar hog, as my dad used to say.

It is time for BP to allow the people in who can help with this disaster.  Enough with keeping reporters, authorities and experts out to try to protect your corporations image.  I hate to break it to you imbeciles…….there is no corporate image left for BP to protect.  That is unless its dead dolphins, oil covered sea birds, tarred beaches and destroyed wetlands.

Those words hold a special value for  Americans and for the people of Israel.  They represent times and things we never wish our people to be part of again.

For Americans it represents a time we were so blissfully ignorant of the world around us that we allowed the attack on Pearl Harbor to take place.  Sadly, after many years, we let our guard down and ignored warnings of yet another surprise attack.   The result was more costly in American lives than the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.  We know it today simply as 9/11.

For the Jews it meant never again suffering the atrocities put upon them by the Nazi and Stalin regimes.  No more internment camps, no more concentration camps, no more mass murder.

When units of the 101st Airborne Division discovered the fist concentration camp many members of this war hardened group known as ‘the battered bastards of Bastogne’ were made physically ill by what they saw.  This was the fist that the world outside Nazi Germany learned of Hitler’s ‘final solution’.  Six million Jews killed.  Why?, simply because they were Jews.

The nations of the world banded together to help the Jewish people establish their own homeland.  It is the nation known today as Israel.  The heart of the world and especially the U.S.A. went out to the Jewish people, so much so that we forced others out of the homes they had owned for generations to give the Jews back a homeland that had not been theirs for centuries.

I would like to point out that in WWII six million Jews were killed.  I would also like to point out that almost ten million Americans, twenty million Russians and millions more Allied soldiers gave their lives in that conflict.   Every nation suffered, every religion lost and the entire world bled.

Sadly, today it appears the Jewish people had in mind “never again’ just for themselves.  They do not seem to mind concentration camp like conditions imposed on those that they deem deserving of such treatment.  Must be nice to be the ones holding the guns this time around, huh?

From all reports, the conditions on the Gaza Strip are inhumane.  There is a lack of food, clothing, medical supplies and the basic needs of life.  This is due to a wall of Israeli troops surrounding the Gaza Strip and a blockade of all international shipping allowed into the area.

Simple translation:  no one or nothing in, and no one or nothing out… period….enforced by the firepower of the Israeli governments military.

So an international aid organization decided to send food, clothing and medical supplies to the Gaza strip.  No weapons or guns, just humanitarian aid. The ships were flagged by the nations of Turkey, The United States and Ireland.  None of whom are considered enemies of the nation of Israel.

The Israeli response was swift.  It was sure.  It was military.  It was a Nazi-like response.

Board the ships in international waters with commandos.  Kill anyone that dares to resist Israeli military might.  Respond to civilians resisting your troops with machine gun fire.  Kill any that oppose you.  Seize the  ships, their civilian crews and the humanitarian supplies on board and treat the civilians as criminals.

Well the big bad Israeli military played the role of Blackbeard the pirate.  They boarded ships of other nations in international water.  They seized those ships.  When people resisted these highly trained and heavily armed commandos by attacking them with deck chairs they opened fire killing at least nine people and wounding many more.

In my personal opinion the government of Israel has gone from their role of oppressed to the role of oppressor.   They have violated international law by boarding vessels of foreign countries in international water.  They are refusing food and medical supplies to those in need.

Is it possible that the wheel has come full circle and we can now call the Israeli government a Nazi regime?  Maybe they should dig some trenches and start shooting people that they deem unworthy in the back of the head.  After all, a quick and merciful death is more humane than a slow lingering death by disease or starvation.  That is what Heinrich Himmler taught the world.
