There is a documentary film that has been made which chronicles the public reaction to Scott Walker,his reign and his effect on Wisconsin politics. There will be a sneak preview of the film on Friday March 9th in Madison, Wisconsin.
I promised the We are Wisconsin people on Twitter that I would put up a notification on this blog so that all you Wisconsinites and wanna be Wisconsinites get a chance to at least try to make it. Here is what they have to say in their announcement;
Description:
A “Sneak Preview” of We Are Wisconsin, a feature documentary film by award-winning director Amie Williams that follows the day-to-day unfolding of the public outcry against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s controversial budget-repair bill. When Wisconsin’s newly elected Governor Scott Walker introduces a bill that threatens to wipe away worker rights and lock out public debate, six ordinary Wisconsinites join thousands of protestors at the State Capitol, building a citizen-driven uprising that not only challenges the bill, but the soul of a nation.
I really wish I could go to this event. However, due to finances and my health right now, I am limited as far as my social functions are concerned. The fact that it is about 1,000 miles away makes a difference too.
Seriously, if you can get there, it would be a really great thing to do and it sounds like it would be educational plus interesting. Here is the link you need to purchase tickets;

Go and have a wonderful evening. Don’t forget to report back here on what you see and do. This Wisconsin film should be really good.
In order to comply with recent law, I must let you know I have no financial interest in this Wisconsin film and do not earn money from the sale of tickets.
